Jason Mraz Plane

“Plane” is a song written and performed by singer Jason Mraz. It appeared on his second studio album Mr. A-Z and runs a little over five minutes long.
It’s also a rather melancholy song compared to many of his other works, considering the theme - it’s about flying, which you think would be uplifting, but it’s more about Mraz leaving somebody who he cared for behind as he hops on a plane. The plane is much more of an escape than it is liberating: he wants it to stay in the air for as long as possible, otherwise he’ll start to remember the person he left behind and hurt again.
